A popular 1/8 GT touring category as a new category that can realize a dynamic race scene just like a real car. In anticipation of the IFMAR World Championship held in the United States, we will introduce a new engine, the OSSPEED R21 GT. Performance improved over the entire range compared to the previous model OSSPEED 21XZ-GT. The crankcase is a refined version of the R2101, which has an excellent history of on-road racing. Cylinder/piston adopts scavenging 5 ports + exhaust 3 ports that clear IFMAR regulation. The newly designed crankshaft is a design that emphasizes pick-up by press-fitting DLC coating and counterweight that inherited the tradition of OSSPEED. In consideration of the GT touring race scene, we have adopted a new outer head that emphasizes cooling performance. The carburetor is equipped with a new double-adjust type 22E(B)GT cab that emphasizes pickup performance that smoothly follows the rise from the corner, which is important for GT touring. The reducer is also equipped with φ7 according to IFMAR regulation.
